 World Vegan Day

World Vegan Day is an annual event celebrated by vegans around the world every 1 November. The benefits of veganism for humans and the natural environment are celebrated through activities such as setting up stalls, hosting potlucks, and planting memorial trees. The event was established in 1994 by Louise Wallis, then Chair of The Vegan Society in the United Kingdom, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the organisation and the coining of the terms "vegan" and "veganism".

All Saints’ Day

All Saints' Day, also called All Hallows' Day, Hallowmas, or Feast of All Saints, in the Christian church, a day commemorating all the saints of the church, both known and unknown, who have attained heaven.

World Tsunami Day- Nov 5

After the deadliest Tsunami happened in 2004 in the Indian Ocean, The United Nations General Assembly designated 5 November as World Tsunami Awareness Day from December 2015. 

To increase the awareness about the Tsunami among over 700 million people live in low-lying coastal areas and Small Islands is the the motive of this day.  

The highest number of deaths taken in the Indian Ocean at the time of tsunami in December 2004. It took millions of lives and affected 14 countries. An estimated 2,27,000 died in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and India alone and the hardest-hit country was Thailand.
